A professional husband-and-wife crew — captain and chef — with three consecutive seasons together on Lagoon catamarans in Croatia and a recent Caribbean season in the BVI. Currently available for a permanent placement from November 2026, ideally aboard a privately-owned Lagoon or Sunreef 55.

Alex
A commercially certified charter captain — RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore 200GT — with over 30 years as a yachtsman and five years running charter catamarans professionally across Croatia, the BVI, and the wider Mediterranean and Caribbean. Experience runs from 45 to 65ft catamarans, most recently multiple seasons on Lagoon 52s, plus a winter season in the BVI on Fountaine Pajot and Lagoon 50/55 catamarans. Fluent in Spanish, conversational in French.
Salomé
Chief Stewardess and Chef, a native Spanish speaker specialising in Mediterranean cuisine. Runs the boat budget, guest experience, and galley — typically breakfast and lunch daily plus two evening meals a week — with the same attention to detail she brings from a background in finance and production management.
Three consecutive Croatia seasons on Lagoon catamarans have shown what we offer as a team: a calm, experienced captain and a chef/steward who consistently deliver a five-star guest experience.

The Captain
RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore 200GT (commercially endorsed), ENG1 Medical Certificate, RYA Diesel Marine, Sea Survival, First Aid, and ICC. Comfortable with everything from heating systems to sails and rigging, and calm under pressure with guests and crew alike.
The Chef & Steward
RYA Powerboat Level 2, First Aid, ENG1 Medical, Food Hygiene Level 2. Manages the boat budget, cleanliness, and guest experience alongside meal planning and delivery — up to three services a day.

Where We've SailedCroatia, the BVI & Beyond
Three consecutive summers running Lagoon catamarans in Croatia for Yacht Getaways, plus a winter season as Relief Charter Captain and Dock Manager in the BVI — sailing Fountaine Pajot 47/59s and Lagoon 50/55s for demanding North American charter guests. Alex has also worked as Country Manager overseeing up to 20 skippers, lead skipper for a Croatia flotilla operation, and delivery/relief skipper across the USA and Mediterranean since becoming commercially certified in 2021. Between us, we've sailed the Eastern Seaboard of the US, the Caribbean, Portugal, Spain, France, Croatia, the Greek Islands, Turkey, and the Gulf of Oman.
